Stage Kits?

So i called my dealership and i just think the guy was an idiot but i could find no info on any stage kits for the 2.2 Maybe there isnt one...does anyone know?....he didnt even have info on kits for the ss so i think he is just stupid...or maybe our engine doesnt have a kit

GM doesn't have a kit for the 2.2L's. Not yet anyways.

could be like this
stage 1- intake,exhaust,header
stage 2- urethane mounts
stage 3-lightened flywheel,clutch
stage 4- cams
stage 5- ported/polished head and 3 angle valve job,7500rpm valvetrain with ecu reflash for 7500 rpm redline
stage 6- forged pistons/rods

I know

they could offer intake or exhaust setups (oh wait they already do) but they wouldn't be named stage kits

i was just refering to a possible "package" that included the upgraded n/a internals such as more aggressive cams and gears....some kind of reflash.(not yet)....adjustable cam gears and the like....why does it seem that you all get so mad so easy....nothing is dumb....if someone doesnt know something..yea it may make u laugh...but they dont know so help...dont say **** is dumb....thats dumb lol

Well in the GM Build Book they state they have a SC for the 2.2L (originally made for the Cav) which is supposed to fit on the Cobalt. You can get it from CrateEngineDepot for ~$2,600. That would get you to 200hp right there.

for the most part yes but thats not entirely true....they used to have upgrade sets for the older rx-7, non-boosted, but that a diff manufacturer anyway...but no american cars never offer n/a upgrade "kits"...that is true
