if it's only showing 11 volts then it's probably your battery... it should read at least high 12's provided you didn't spend the last hour cranking it over killing your battery in the process. things are lit up and it sounds like the starter is clicking... hard to hear it in the vid. best way to tell is throw a real volt meter on your battery terminals. see what it reads. if you're still not sure ..get a boost from another car... if it's your battery you'll know when it still doesn't start. if you get it started and it's not reading around 13-14volts you have a charging issue. really the best way to tell is get a boost.. if it doesn't start then its probably your starter or maybe even an ignition issue..

it was connected to another car, I had jumper cables connecting my car to another car and it still wouldn't start, also my voltage meter didn't ever go past 12 even after charging for 20 minutes on another car

hmm well it's a pain but swap the batteries if you can and try it then to eliminate any errors by hooking up the booster cables incorrectly?

even getting a boost it should read higher than 11 volts unless your battery is completely toast and won't hold a charge which is possible. i'd say battery my friend since a bad starter would have nothing to do with a low voltage reading... unless as i said you cranked it to death.

go get yourself a cig lighter voltage monitor, and watch the voltage while cranking, should not be below 9 volts in a Cobalt. If it is, battery replacement will be required, as 95% of the time the starter is NOT the problem.

Starter isn't bad, it can be taken out with basic hand tools.

glad to hear it might be an idea the check your charging system now and make sure it isn't what killed your battery
