Stock SS S/C Exhaust on 2.2L LT?

Hey guys,
I put the GMMP exhaust on my S/C SS but I still have the brand new stock exhaust sitting in my garage. My little bro, bought a 2.2L LT for college we're hoping we could just bolt up my old SS exhaust to his car.

Will it work, does the flange line up and will a SS exhaust gasket fit on the smaller 2.2 pipe?

Thanks!

If you are talking righ off the cat where the flange is then yes it will work. I have one on mine. took about 30 mins to pull off and put on the new one. I did it in the driveway then went to muffler shop to have it welded and muffler put on. Really easy and a great upgrade. When you pull the stock 2.2 crap of you will be amazed how much bigger the SS/SC exhaust is.

I have this mod and let me tell you, its a great bang for your buck. If you guys want to see some pictures or hear sound clips, maybe I'll be able to get some done this week if the rain in NJ ever stops.

Yes, the SS/SC exhaust bolts directly on to the 2.2. Very easy install and a decent sound/power gain.

I too have an SS Exhaust. It bolts right up and is a great improvement over stock.

2.5inch for the most part, there is one section that goes down to just over 2.25inch but it's still better than the stock 1.75 - 1.85 inch.
