I would just grab a Tsudo exhaust off ebay, mine is by option racing and it was $161 shipped! my car sounds like a street bike! way better than you can do with any kind of mikey mouse muffler delete. I love it! and it installed in less than 30 minutes.
I bet it sounds awful! NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER take the Cat or resonator off a 4cyl car unless its Turbocharged!!!
I see idiots in integras with header/no resonator/catback acting like the have more hp with no resonator but in reality they just sound awful and it makes no difference.

i have stock header and DP with a GMPP catback and i get compliments on how it sounds all the time, deep and no rasp... i'd never consider going cat-less, possibly a ZZP 2.5 catted DP but that's about it
The lack of backpressure by doing this will kill what little power you have while making it sound like a wet fart at the same time. DO NOT DO IT!!!
I had an 06 SS/SC for a long time and I went down this road before. Sounded horrible. Drove it with that horrible set-up for about a week before I couldn't take it anymore. I ended up putting a ZZP 2.5 inch downpipe with the biggest resonator I could get and a Magnaflow muffler. Sounded awesome.

Um...not to sound like an ass but I took it as a joke. He's blunt and if you don't like it then it's your problem. And I think he knows a little bit about the cobalts/redlines
BTW, think of your engine as an air pump. Bigger outlet/ bigger inlet. Intake, throttle body, head, cams, injectors, fuel preassure reg., and then exhaust.. there's several things to do first. Not really ALL those but most to get more power out of an NA car.. it will b slow with just exhaust
