too vague. t3/t4 could serious be hundreds of different combinations. a gt45 is too big of a turbo for the cobalt

the one im looking at is a godspeed t3/t4 turbo, comes in an entire kit

basically an ebay turbo kit. I know ebay is bad blah blah blah lol. My buddy just boosted his si with one so he is my guinea pig on how it runs and lasts

I had a godspeed turbo that i was gonna use and it was suprisingly good quality. I know a guy in des moines running one on his neon and has had it for 2 years with no issues

i mean the quality of the ebay stuff is obviously going to less than higher brand stuff, but those turbos with a garret rebuild are just about as good as any. I cant recall the website but there was a magazine that did a project on a chevy pickup where they tossed on twin ebay turbos with rebuild on it and did multiple (100+ dyno runs) all the way up to like 1600 hp and the turbos did fine.

I think if you dont expect much out of them and stay in some mild boost you will be fine. that being said, there is reason companies like Precision, BorgWarner, etc are top companies. They put tons of money and research into their turbos and are well trusted

ok. yea i mean my internals arent built up and wont be for a while so i would only be running mild boost anyway. I have a 2.2l so i think im gonna give the ebay kit a try here later this fall

not all ebay turbos are junk and as far as the t3/t4, it still isnt enough info, we def need the size of the compressor and turbine wheels and the ar of the housings.
