Comp Cams 113200 Xtreme Energy Ecotec XE252HR-11 Camshaft Set - Stage 2

The COMP Cams® ECOTEC camshafts provide increased horsepower and all around performance for this increasingly popular sport compact application, without compromising engine durability. Using Spintron® developed ECOTEC lobe profiles, the COMP Cams® engineering team optimized intake and exhaust flow to deliver dramatic performance improvements. This was accomplished by opening the intake valves faster with aggressive “fast ramp” lobe designs. The results are improved throttle response and “seat of the pants” performance. The new COMP camshafts also utilize quicker valve closings, giving the ECOTEC engine a much broader power band.

VALVE LIFT: .423 Intake & .419 Exhaust

DURATION (Advertised/@.050"): 252/256 Intake & 210/212 Exhaust

LOBE SEP. ANGLE: 111°

RPM OPERATING RANGE: 2600-6800RPM

CAM GRIND #: XE252HR-11

APPLICATION: Hydraulic Roller for Street Applications, wide power range, strong torque, works best with programmer or custom computer programming.

where did Gravana get all these other cam profiles from? i noticed those the other day too

to get the most out of the cams and maintain drivability, you'll want tuning with any cams. however you could probably get away with no tuning on stage 1 comp cams

We are Comp Cams #1 dealer for the Ecotec. Stage 1 works fine without any tuning. A custom tune should be used with the stage 2. Stage 3 is VERY wild and should only be used by those upgrading to the Ferrea valve train, and have the option for dyno time and a custom tune.

PM us with questions.
