Read again!! I said when my car was STOCK that means before i put the jet module and mass air sensor or anything on it. There is or was no limiter on my 06' LT

 

had my ss topped out at 145 its still acted like it wanted to keep going faster

 

u obviously havent read my last few posts

there are 2 limiters, one for around 110ish and one for 130

this is due to the fact of the 2.2s coming with 2 different tires, one rated for 112 and one rated for 130

i was just asking because my car came with the tires rated for 130, but my speedo only said 120 instead of the one that goes to 140, so for some reason i was under the impression that i might have been limted to 112

but like someone said, the speedo doesnt matter, its all about the tires

 

best i got was 130, and i feel very comfortable at 120.

 

I've been in an SS/TC at 140 (had PLENTY more to go)

I've like I said been 160+ (don't know the needle went past 160) ONLY ONCE!

 

it's about the tires and tune

 

get tuned...no govenor...ive been to 125, about to shift into 5th...need more power

 

vtech will let you do anything and everything

 

ive been 170+ in a nascar, 160+ riding bitch on a bike at age 12 lmao

110+ on multiple occasions in friends cars, bouncing off the limiter

135-140 in dads car

had mine up to 97 then shut down cuz an audi came flying up and it was my 2nd day with a lisence and i about **** my pants cuz i thought it was a cop

 

i heard the ss/tc is set at 157mph

I got my Lt to go past its speedo i got the 120 speedo and i was past that untill it shut off, so im guessing about 125

 

I got my bone stock ls to go to 117 but had to slow down for the toll...i dont know if it will go past that.

 

I had my 06 ls up to 125mph on christmas and that was still a couple hundred rpms before the end of 3rd gear lol and it was still pulling decent. And yes tuning is the only way to go if you want to go faster because originally my car stopped at 105
