ok this is an over posted thread...use this section to list all braces that work and FIT the 2.2...lets put this to rest finally....post only if you have the equip or have seen it istalled properly on the 2.2 balt

The ZZ Performance REAR Trans mount Fits the 2.2L cobalt w/ F23 Trans (which includes the 2.4L).
F23= 5-Speed

it works with an aftermarket intake because the stock air box interferes.

I tested for Ingalls it works but like roadrunner said you have to have an aftermarket intake!

Not really though, we just photochopped the brace into his engine bay. lol

Yes the ingalls fits the 2.2l with an aftermarket intake.

have an injen CAI so fit sounds like np. Ingalls sounds like the way to go

So what exactly does this torque brace do? From what I understand it will keep my engine from bouncing around under hard acceleration therefore giving me better traction and a better launch. Are there any other benefits to this product?

It kills wheel hop for the most part
