tire spin on a properly prepped track with no traction mods would usually mean wheel hop.

Launching around 3500-4000 only mod was a ca header, got a 2.3 60' on stock conti's (WORST tire i have ever had) ran a 15.9.

Went back a year later with lsj dp and cai on bald tires ran a 15.5. Gonna go back soonto see what the exhuast did.

to get a 2.3 u would have to have minimal tire spin and if u launched at close to 4k rpms then u musta really feathered ur clutch outa the hole, which is not to healthy for it.

As said, i optained a 2.2 60 foot on a bone stock 2.4 with only 2500 rpm launch. And my car only has 8 more ft/lbs of torque then a 2.2.

Screw the clutch!! i don't think i feathered the clutch that much, don't really remember. I know i had some spin last time but it wasn't all that much off the line. I felt the car would have gone about .2 faster if it would roast the hell out of the tires on the 1/2 shift. Thats where most of the spin was, shitty continentals. I am strongly considering getting a obx lsd and putting a hhr trans in the car, i think the 4.17 fd might wake it up a little, but with getting married in 2 months i'm kinda strapped right now.

15.66 @ 88 MPH. 100% humidy and over 90 degrees outside. My car never bogged, just not very good shiftpoints and too humid outside.

We had a full bolton and dyno tuned 2.2 G5 there that couldnt trap higher then 88 mph either
