Trying to get More power
not sure about the 2.2 tb adapter plate, and i dont think paying as much a they want is a good idea for their lsj tb +adapter kit, but the mani is only like 15 bucks cheaper at gmpartsdirect and it doesnt come with gaskets from them either. Im suree you can find the adapter plate somewhere unless your just gonna go w the 2.4 tb... But i have seen the 2.4 plate somewhere

ok...
1. you can put on the manifold with no tune as long as you use the 2.2 tb...
2. if you use the 2.4 tb (alot bigger) you will need a tune
3. there is a rumor that the jet maf will correct the problem but its not guarranteed by any means
if i dont go s/c then i will be doing this in spring...thats right i dont have this done....but i have done my research for the most part and these are the answers i have found to the same questions you have...good luck bro

yeah i already have the manifold and throttle body for the 2.4..just holding up on installing it till i have the correct info..will i need to visit the dealership after installing these parts or will diconnecting the battery put the computer into learn mode and it will reset itself..not sure how these cars work yet..can someone answer this..what is best.i already have parts now i need info
that is..IF the dealer will tune it, let alone have someone capable...not all of them do...they dont like to reflash vette computers when someone gets a bad tune and just wants back to stock...
i would call trifecta if you want adecent tune, thats who everyone raves about anyway lol

Well i swapped the 2.2 mani for the 2.4 this weekend.anyone after installing without reseting the computer have issues with idle being high.mine is sitting right below 2000 rpm...i was just wondering since i kept my factory 2.2. Throttle body on if anyone else ran into this problem...
Im getting bigger injectors and putting the 2.4 throttle body on right before i go to get it tuned before the o.c.c. Car show...
Any info would help.

Aw man...why is everyone leavin my man hangin after his install?? lol I was thinkin about doing this mod too. I figured this was a 'trouble free' mod. I guess u gotta get a tune to drop the rpms???
well i talked to a gm tech yesterday and he said the fluctuation in rpm is because i never reset the computer and the difference in air space and vaccum pressure from manifold to another is different. Or could possibly be a vaccum leeak.im going to mess around with it more tonight after work.ill post my findings tommorow for you peeps..lol
