Tuning My Balt.
that's why I encourage going through a dealer. I charge $300 for a cobalt, as opposed to the $465, you still get free retunes if your local, or the cost of gas if you're not, I keep your stock tune if you need to go back to stock, ect... all the benefits of having the cable without the extra $165
you can rent a PDA tuner from trifecta for $350 for the initial tune, buy a cable and a tune for $465 for the initial tune and all following retunes unless a major retune is required. If you rent the PDA, you have to pay $65 for each retune regardless of what the retune is, but more for a major retune. If you go through a dealer you pay whatever that dealer charges, in my case I charge $300 for a cobalt/ion, different amounts for different cars, and retunes are free if you are local or drive to me, or my gas required to get to you for a minor retune. Major retunes always need to pay again, rates depend, major means forced induction or similar mods that require completely redoing the fuel/air table.
LS2Edit if you can find a shop and HPTuners when it comes out. Trifecta is a tune that you order off the internet and just load it on your car.. not ideal for people needing to frequently tweek their tune because you cant just go ahead and do it, you must order yet another update tune.
