Turboed LS 2.2 need info

Ok I have an 07 cobalt ls 2.2 turbo tuned by trifecta and I need to kno what sensors I could use from the ss cobalt. Im maxing out my airflow tables and Im wondering if I went to a 2 bar map/maf wut else I would need to change. The IAT as well? but I don't have part numbers im still looking for those.

You should be fine with a 2 Bar map. I'm not sure about an SS MAF. Might do the trick as well.

I'll be honest. That looks cheap. If you are going to turbo your car. Get only the best parts. Half assing it will lead to failure.

Right Parts
Right Install
Right Tune

You will be set.

all piping on that car was welded by me the only thing I didn't do was make the manifold. all stainless exhaust welded by me and I guarantee you couldn't make as much power with the hahn kit for the price I put my kit together for. total ur lookin at about 1800 and thats with an exhaust system, new wastegate, turbo, the only thing im still waiting on is my turbo timer, lowering springs and watch the video on my myspace first launch with it was pretty decent and I raped my buddies honda civic ek out of the hole. I didn't like the hahn kit cuz you get wut you get and there is no tweaking anything and I like to do my own work. Im working towards gettin all the piping bent so that theyr are no welds mid way but thats kool that u think it looks cheap its ur opinion but it makes power and its tuned as well as just about everyother car out there.

where can I get a 2 bar maf I mean wut would I look under to find it or does anyone have a part number

well then I congradulate you, you have done what most won't do on a 2.2

By that I mean do your own turbo setup. If you did most of the work I'm sure it's a great feeling to start that bitch up and let her purr

hey thanks man i just lowered it with eibach sportlines and it looks great. Vince from Trifecta did the tuning and it rips hard. I love driving it, its a blast and its a good sounding cobalt and not like alot of these ones you hear riced out. to each his own.

Are you recirculating the bov? If not, how is that draw through working for ya?

No problems with the breather filter being unmetered?

First of all, you tune using the MAF sensor, so it has nothing to do with atmospheric pressure. There is no BAR rating. I believe our MAF is the same as the SS/SC's so theres no reason to buy anything. You need to recalibrate your MAF. Now i have no idea how to do that because i dont have vince's tuning software or HPTuners/LS2Edit available for my ECM.

What you may need though is your MAF sensor to be inside 3" piping. You also dont need a new MAP sensor. Our cars are Alpha-N based, not Speed Density.

preston u can have a ride man but yeh im not sure about the maf and ****. The draw through is working good, I wanted to recirculate the bov but its pretty cramped and I like the sound of it the way it is. all in all the car runs really good. Im looking for a spare valve cover and ignition coil tho. the coil doesn't have to work I have a shop developing a coil pack cover like on the ss cobalts so that it gives the 2.2 valve cover a cleaner look. Nobody makes these so I have a shop developing one and they will be manufactured for others to buy but I need a valve cover and ignition module so if anyone has one that I could barrow for a couple weeks please contact me 262-206-5374.

Also have stock cobalt LS parts for sale. let me kno if your interested and what you need.
