TWM or Cosmo STS?
I can't decide between the TWM and the Cosmo STS.
I hear that TWM is amazing, but the Cosmo is cheaper.
Which one should I get? I'm terrible at making decisions like this.

The TWM is a high quality shifter. It makes your shifting feel alot more defined with their aluminum bushings vs. the stock rubber ones. Their shift knobs are top notch too! Install wasn't too bad, the only thing I had trouble with was this retaining ring that goes over the "ball" part of the shifter. My only complaint with the shifter is that it does not have the same bend in its shaft like the stock shifter has. This means that it moves your shift pattern up. The bottom gears (2,4,R) look like they are in a neutral position with respect to the shift bezel, and the top gears (1,3,5) kinda run into your cup holder area. It makes driving a nuisance with any drinks in there.
I dont know anything about the Cosmo STS, but the TWM will give you a very nice solid feel, while shortening your throws. I give it a 7/10.

Thank you.
Did you have to cut anything while installing it?

Both will get the job done. TWM is much better quality of course but I liked the cosmo because it required no cutting at all. Installed in 30 min. just by taking the top cover off the center console. I've had no problems with mine and many cavaliers in Montreal (Where I'm From) have been using the Cosmo for years without problems
I only paid $65 shipped for mine compared to about $185 for the TWM
I did have to cut a little bit into the shifter housing per TWM instruction. I just used a dremel and it was very easy. You can adjust the shift cables to move back the shift pattern as much as possible (which I did) but it still runs into the cup holder area. My shifter will come right next to a drink without hitting it. I just have to make sure my hand is not inbetween the drink and the knob otherwise there will be interference.
I have been considering heating the shifter up via torch in an attempt to bend it similar to the stock shifter. If the shifter came pre-bent, I would have given it a 10/10.
