im about to buy an entire supertech valvetrain for my 07 l61 and I have a concern with my valve to piston clearnace... if anyone can let me know what you have done or info you know about the clearnace please comment

it ll be good for your clearance

 

No issues, cams will change that though (possibly)

 

i have comp cams stg 2

 

i get stg2 and the clearance will be the same even with supertech valvetrain

i follow your thread because i passed by the way

i m cammed with stage 2 cams comp and clearance are not a issue at all

even tom with a 0.020'' head shaved i got ton of clearance

 

You will be fine with stage 2 or even 3 cams from comp.

Only way to check for clearance is to pull the head and clay it.
