Just so ya know. I had spray on my car back within a 2 months of getting it new in 2005. I just never really made a big deal about it because I had sprayed 2 previous cars also.

So you might not have been the first but you're one of the only ones to continue to spray

hmm...somehow I missed this. He's actually working on something for this. I believe he'll probably announce it himself.

I'd already discussed it with him when we talked about getting something together for the Ions. He said that normally he advances timing by ~5 degrees on the 2.2 tunes and of course I was a little weary of that.

Then someone brought it to my attention (a 2.4 guy) that that you could always do it that way. Which I know I would prefer...

You're talking about pulling timing and running premium fuel right?

Pulling timing as in retarding it. Not advancing it?

Well for nitrous you want to retard timing and for higher octane fuel you want to advance. correct me if im wrong.

Thats what I thought.

As far as I remember, pulling timing is good for adding boost to non-boosted cars.

Adding timing is good for making higher power with bolt ons on N/A cars and premium fuel.

With gas prices the way they are I don't even want to slap my blower on

yeah but if you tune for F/I or even just premium fuel on a N/A car you actually get a littl better fuel economy. I've heard a few, that have ben tuned by trifect, say they've been getting better gas mileage.
