well while we're on the subject i figure id like to add one of my own problems. this happened a while ago... well i was driving home and it was late. the road i was on was sorta narrow and was somewhat wet from the rain the day before. well a fricken fox or dog or something runs out in front of me while im doing about 45. as a natural instinct i smash the breaks and i slide into the curb Passenger side front tire smacking it hard. i pull up to the nearest gas station to assess the damage because there we cars still on the road with nowhere to pull off to. well the lip of the rim was cracked open about 3 inches long and half an inch wide. luckily it didnt pop the tires but there was a severe vibration and pulling to the right afterward. i went to a shop the next day to get an alignment done to help fix the problem. now ive heard that on a FWD car that if your alignment goes off itll never be fully repairable. is this true? now my car still pulls but not as hard AND when im driving between 55-65 MPH the wheel shakes hard while pulling right as well. once i hit 70 the pulling isnt as hard and the vibration starts to go away. now i cant really fix this as being deployed but ill be going home in the next couple months and was wondering if there was anything else i could do. ive already rotated the tires and got a new rim but it still vibrates pulls. do you think the rotors bent or something when i hit? or is the alignment really gone forever?
