water temp sensor

I have an electronic water temp gauge that I want to install. Where is the best place to install the temp sensor sending unit. BTW i am aware of the DIC readout but I hate having to scroll threw that to get the information and rather see milage and outside temp on that

i put mine on the drivers side of the engine. galley plug. bottom corner closest to the firewall

that too, either or requires a adapter :p that one require the autometer adapter
