exhaust, header, blah blah...ur not going to end up getting a ton of power out of this car unless u do a turbo or supercharger set up, even then, ehh, "power" is debatable. maybe u should just start on some appearance mods instead.

btw, i have a 2.2 as well, lol.

the 2.2 was built to give u great gas mileage not hp gains from mods...so really anything u do unless its forced induction or a shot is not gonna really give u the gains ur looking for.

we will see about that
the 2.2 was built...blah blah blah
the sc or 2.4 or tc were built buy someone too, and when you replace the majority of the parts you can then say "it was built by the factory for __________, but I have rebuilt if for _______" thats part of doing a full engine build...doesnt matter what it came like at the factory, matters what it does when you get done

talked with both my tuner and dan of clear image auto (and tod in his shop) and they stated that it really didnt matter either way, these cars (being n/a) dont need a heck of alot of backpressure at all and that this wouldnt hurt anything.
that and it was cheaper and the day i was getting it installed i would have had to wait for the shipment of cats to come in...so i opted to go without

you gotta do a little more reading on exhaust tuning.
the only downside to running catless is 1) its illegal, and 2) it doesnt sound very good on our cars

Nitrous!! It's cheap easy and effective. The best bang for the buck by far.

Andrew i would go with the cat back, with a header and dp, then look at a 2.4 Intake manifold, and i think somone said the 2006 2.2 have the same connectors as the 2007 2.4 so you can prob plug and play the 2.4 throttle body. then get the tune.
your car is a 2006 so im sure you can use HP Tuners, so James at raven autosports can do your tune.

Since when, I have never heard of them releasing it. I thought all we had to date was trifecta???

I say nitrous, it's a risky power adder some say, then again, so is turbocharging/supercharging. And, it's way cheaper.

I would recommend bolt ons and a tune, but in my opinion, they were a total waste of time and money.
