This might be a useful question but does anyone know how long it takes to upload the tune to the car?

 

OK. Im actually the first to get the 2.2l tuned with the 2.4L TB and got it working. The tune takes about 15mins to load up and is actually very easy.

Im goign to hopefully dyono soon but I gota get something fixed.

 

how much of a difference did you notice with the 2.4tb and tune?

 

07 ions can use ls2 edit so i'm guessing you guys can too

 

its prob what this guy is using, ls2edit to tune pcms, and mailing them at 2x the price

 

05 06 aren't supported afaik.

 

Well mine isn't "fully" done yet because I actually had vince do some other stuff for me because im running N2O. However it does run and so far the pull up top is amazing. I'll update on my own thread as things progres.

On a side note, Vince is deffinitely not a rip off guys and people realy need to stop talking **** about his work and what he is offering. because if it wasn't for him, then geuss what? We wouldn't even have a ******* WAY to tune our cars via the ECM/TCM you idiots!!!!!!!!! So STFU and quit talking **** if you don't know or understand; I geuss thats why you guys who realy talk that much **** drive riced out cobalt LS with nothing but a ss wing and a fart can. If the LS2 edit coud work on the car then how ome no one has done/even tried it yet, huh?!

I don't wana sound like an ass but Vince is a realy kool guy and is offering a lot to us 2.2 guys who get talked down upon alot from the SS guys and for some reason half if not the majority on this forum don't appreciate it.

As a matter of fact I have seen him tune an ECM! there's a video of him with MEMBERS from the saturn forum where he was introducing himself and actually tunning an ion i believe ON THE DYNO!!! SO you STFU!!

ion guys cant tune the same year 2.2s we cant. same stuff, ls2edit can tune the ECU/TCMs all 2.4 ecotecs and all 2007+2.2s including cobalts.

 

it's not quite the same stuf.f. vince can't tune ions of any year for some reason :-( for the 2.2's

it was always possible, people are forgetting about standalone and F/I contollers

 

while this is true a full standalone can take out some features of the car and cost a **** load to install and do right.. so it's not a cost effective way nor does it always make the car a dd
