Hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone has ran the zzp 1.0 PCM in a 2.2 that wasn't turbo'd or supercharged? I know some people run the and some people go to trifeca but I was contemplating buying the zzp PCM with larger injectors and a higher flowing fuel pump and then over time getting the 2.4 intake and tb, a exhaust and possibly a underdrive pulley but I don't wanna purchase the PCM if its not gonna work or if I'm gonna run into more problems when I put it in. It's my dd so i cant have it down too long but I would like to add some performance to it so any input would be greatly appreciated!

 

What year is your 2.2? Because if it's older than 08, it won't work. The 05, 06, and 07 2.2's don't have PCMs.

 

Mines an 06 I'm just trying to put some cheap easy performance in my car that won't have it tied up for too long

 

You're incorrect. The 07 have some support, depends on when it was produced. Best way to find out is have a shop local that has hptuners and see if they can read the ecu.

OP I would remote tune through trifecta since that is your only choice on an 06.

 

Thank you for the correction. I knew for sure the 05 and 06 don't have a PCM. But I couldn't remember if the 07 did or not. But I know now. Thank you.
