Ok guys im sure something simlar to this has already been posted but i can't find exacty what im looking for, so here goes.

I've got a 06 LS, and its got a few things done but you know how it goes im never really going to be done with it. Well im looking at the ZZP header and D/P combo, with 1.5" primaires, 2.5" D/P, and high flow cat.

But im a little worried, ZZP has a warning on there site and basiclly said your SEL will come on, is there a way around this with tuning. Oh ya ive got a magnaflow cat back too. So is anyone running this set up, and how do you like it, How does it sound. the Mangaflow sounds really good its just too queit for my taste.

It can? what kind of tune? You mean that cheap scanner at adavnce auto, or a real tune. What do you think, i really don't want my SEL on.

 

they have that warning?! ****, i was gonna get their combo when i get money.

 

the light doesnt do anything. its just on because of the emissions code. wont affect anything.

 

won't affect anything until you go in for inspection haha

 

at this rate im gonna have sai flashed out by someone with tech2 and gonna have to get my inspection done by some shady place anyway so that i can pass.

OK guys thanks for the help. I don't have emisions here in SC so i think im go ahead and buy it. But i am still curious about how it will sound with the high flow cat and magnaflow cat back. If anyone has heard this set up let me know please.

 

if you get it with a cat...theres a pretty good chance the CEL wont come on anyway... mine didnt

 

So i just wanted to update anyone that may be wondering about the ZZP mid length header and down pipe with a magaflow cat-back.
The first couple days it sounded really strange( not in a good way) i guess the cat had to break in, cause now its perfect. Its loud outside the car, but too loud inside the car, Ive had several people tell me how good the car sounds. I love it
