Theres a yellow arrow on the black plastic part near your thumb. That arrow shows the direction of flow.

i know. there's a 45* hose right before the maf. i figured cut out the bracket and weld it in so the maf faces into the tube instead of facing out at the end......i got a feeling that's not gonna work.

Oh, its bent, disregard that thought.

the bend isn't the issue the fact that the maf fits one way and one way only is. i'll get fixed soon just not as soon as i would like. but she turns over code free before it dies.............so i'll be ordering 2 hoses and 3 tbolts

Well, what about drilling and tapping the bung? Looks like it might be an odd shape, just throwing out ideas. Or, cutting the bung off and re-welding it? Is that a lower charge pipe?

Well, I had an idea, but I guess if you are going that far, then to might as well do it right. I was GONNA say, what about just welding a bead onto it to tap to, because it look like you wouldnt have to add much to it. But, that would be a half ass way to do it, and might just be easier to reweld the whole bung. Who made the pipe for you?

Oh, gotcha! Its just an ebay intercooler kit? Not bad. Do you still have the MAF port in the intake? Just stick it back in there and cap off the lower one til you can get it fixed.

I'm not sure I understand what you need the extra elbows for?
