09-Cobalt-LT Supercharger Build

Alright, so I figured I'd post this as I'm going to be starting my build soon. I have everything here/on the way other than gauges (which I'm planning on getting an interceptor with the air/fuel add on). My only question so far is about the MAP sensor. The one I got from the guy is a 2 bar 2.4 map sensor, but it doesn't plug in. What are people using?

Run the LSJ 2.5 bar MAP. You will also need to buy the pigtail for it as it's not plug and play either. Then you can take the IAT wire from the MAF sensor and read IAT2's which is a good thing so you can see how well the cooling system is working. Also the 2.5 bar is the best one for tuning.

Is it really that much better than the 2 bar zzp sensor? If I have to rewire it either way, wouldn't I be better off going with the one I already have?

Never used the 2 bar so I can't say if the 2.5 bar is better or not, just from everything I've read the 2.5 bar is supposed to be the easiest one to tune. And being able to read IAT2's is really nice

Use 2.5 bar. I just got done with my build and its not hard to wire.

You will take the stock MAP wires and put them on the new 2.5 connector and take the blue wire from your MAF (its your IAT signal wire) and put it on the 2.5 connector.

Be prepared to extend lots of wires since the intake is on the other side of the engine.

Kk. Where's the best place to pick one up?

Also, I just finished redoing my taillights today and pulled out my bike, so I'm going to paint my SC and start pulling things off. Just can't decide between blue and white yet for it

Probably gmpartsdirect.com for cheapest price but you will also probably wait a couple weeks before getting it. Never seen anyone paint the sc white yet so I think that would look pretty sick

Picked up some white paint for my SC. Been crazy busy at work so I haven't made too much progress. Gonna start tearing everything down Tuesday

Any guesses for places that ship to Canada? Just went to order and I can't get it. Or am I stuck getting it from the dealer?
