Tranny Swap Question

I have a 2009 Pontiac G5 GT, Turbocharged By ZZP

I currently have the Automatic transmission for my car..

But I plan to change it over to manual...

I just wanted to know if anyone knew what trans I should put into it?

Yeah none. I dont think you understand the magnitude of what you are trying to do. No ones done it, its cost and difficulty are not worth it.

You need the F23 manual from the other 2.2/2.4 cars. Along with all the hardware, you may also need to change the engine harness and computers, along with possibly the body harness and computer. Good luck. Why not just keep the auto?

It would probably be cheaper and less work to build the auto, and it also handles more torque than the f23.

You'd be better off buying a car with a manual and swapping the turbo kit over. That would probably be cheaper than buying everything you need to convert to manual

I'm swapping in a F35 and all other parts pretty soon, I'm well aware of all the things that need to be changed. I say its your money and time and your car. Just stick to it and don't give up or you'll just waste your time if you change your mind half way through.

I'm doing it mainly cause I can and so I can supercharge my car and make it stick, And then I have a LSJ lying around that I can build up with a turbo kit from ZZP.
And because the wrecker is letting me take the LSJ full motor assembly for 1000 and trans with LSD for 300. Car is a side impact I believe.
