2.4 throttle body

I read a lot of post from the community but i'm still not sure about what 2.4 throttle body i should get for my LAP. Should i get a 2.4 throttle body from a 2008 cobalt cause they have 6 pin and i was wondering if they are other models that have the same throttle. I saw this TB on ebay and i was wondering if its gonna fit and if its gonna improve performance on my cobalt

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

The last thing i wanted to know is if theres an aftermarket TB i can get that is going to be as good as 2.4 TB from a 2008 cobalt

Yes that one will work, although you should swap to the 2.4 intake manifold first to get the best gains. No aftermarket throttle bodies but you can use an LSJ throttle body. For this though you would need to rewire for it because it is an 8 pin. Either way you WILL need a tune when you switch throttle bodies

First, make sure you get ones with the correct matching pins, or yea like said above, you will have to rewire. That TB in the link is pretty fd up. I picked one up from a member on here for 65$ shipped in better condition then that. So just look around and be patient.
And I think he has a 2.4 IM on there already cuz hes a LAP engine. Not sure though

What's good about the 2008 6-pin bolted over the LAP is that it doesn't require a tune. I'm not tuned (yet) and she's been running like a champ, no CEL, no Limp mode. A tune helps though.

I have one thats 6 pin and larger than the 2.4 Looks to be off a 07 and up. V6 maybe. Bolts right on the lnf intake but you would need to port the **** out of the manifold to match it up. I think its off a 3.5 or 3.6

So for reference, the LSJ does not bolt up, but the 2.4 does? And how much bigger is the LSJ than the 2.4, worth rewiring?

It's like 4 mm bigger I think. I believe the 2.2 is 58.something mm, the 2.4 is around 64, and the LSJ is around 58. That's just going from memory so I don't know exactly what each is

A 6 pin 2.4 from an 07 should just be plug and play on the LAP, right? Or only the 08 tb?
