Car stalled under braking?

So... my car randomly stalled out under heavy braking the other night on the way home after our first major snow. I'm guessing it has something to do with my vacuum, as the brake booster gets its power from vacuum? Has this happened to anyone before?

Dirty throttle body will sometimes do it. This time of the year a lot of people have the defrost on which engages the air conditioner and helps pull down the idle when coming to a stop. You will often see it "hunting" instead of coming to a steady idle speed it will go up and down a few times before the idle speed evens out. The dipping idle speed along with the vacuum from the brake booser is enough to cause it to stall.
If you are going to clean it read the stickies before you do so or ou may end up with an idle that will stay high.

Ya cause it's safer to have your car stall when you are emergency braking and trying to avoid a potential accident
Don't let anyone tell you that your car was designed to stall when coming to a quick stop

x2. Doesn't sound too safe to lose power brake assist, power steering, throttle, ABS, and traction control when you need the most control over the car.

It doesn't turn off until you come to a complete stop...

in the 4 years since ive bought mine, when coming to a stop, right before stopping to a stand still, my rpms will dip down like it wants to stall, and come back up. ive cleaned my throttle body, and it helps it kinda, but i just ignore it now, its never completely stalled before.
