Where can I find the SS buompr mouldings. I've tried the GM webcite but I can't find then on there. Any sugs?

Alrighty, I tried Ebay, no luck. I have a ls cobalt and i want it took look like the ss. but just having trouble finding the trim pieces.lol they are hard to find. Il try classifieds and some other places. Thanks

please do not do this unless your going to boost and switch hubs cause ive said before that you will look funny if your on your 4 lug and your next to a reall ss on their 5 lug

 

4 lug is fine. if youre going for a show car that looks nice. no one will care if you have ss bumpers and 4 lug wheels.

 

Yeah I know but I have 18inch rims on my car, and it has a center cap on it which covers up the lug nuts, that way you wont know if their is 4 or 5, but ive changed my mind instead. just the trim piece for the from is over 200 bucks. and the bumper is 375 painted on ebay, il just get a body kit for that price.

This. SS bumpers and skirts are the only good looking ones. And as long as you don't try to convince someone it's an SS and race, it'll be fine

Not only does nobody care about the bumper covers on our car, nobody knows that for a short period of time base models had 4 lugs until they switched to 5 like the SS/Sport models. Useless post is useless.


You can get the cover from gmpartsdirect or better yet Tom from C.E.D. (supporting vendor - Cobalt SS Network - View Profile: CrateEngineDepot). I'd have to imagine Tom would get it to you about a month quicker then gmspartsdirect would as everything is a special order there.

 

i have a g5 with ss bumper on and rk rear lip and i got the sideskirts that need painting and people dpnt know if its base or not lol

 

nah i aint like that.lol My silverado has a ss front bumper on it, and everybody asked if it was a ss, i told them i wished.lol
