P0011: camshaft position- timing over. advanced or system performance (bank 1)

I have no clue what this means, aside from the fact, its not active right now and my car still runs like crap at times. and I can't have it go through the shop till the light comes back on since it'll be warranty.
and what I mean by running like crap is that it idles rough, gets jerky when I'm just cruising at times, and sounds like it has a cam.

Cam actuator. It's 25 bucks at rock auto. Takes all of 36 seconds to change with a 10mm socket and an extension. It's right on top of the motor next to the spark plugs. Do it yourself. Give me a second, I can even get you the part number.

Anyway, slight chance of debris on the screen, but probably just needs to be changed. Easy job.

 

is there one or 2 of them?
I had it/one replaced not even a year ago.

On the LNF there is an intake and an exhaust. I'ds assume two for yours as well, but never having even looked at one, that's just an assumption. And 11 code is the intake side if I remember right.
