Eventual TC Build for my 2.2

Ok. So I have recently decided I wanted to turbo my 2.2, but know little about it. I've been reading and such but I don't plan on starting til I know a lot more. I know I'm going to need new rods and pistons. Which ones would you suggest getting if 300hp is my goal. And any other suggestions on anything would be greatly appreciated!

Eagle rods and wiseco pistons are about the only options for the 2.2 (that's not a bad thing because they are great products). The ecotec build book is a good thing to read along with build threads on this site

Valve springs, rods, and pistons is all you need to be reliable. (valve springs are actually optional but its nice to rev out to 7500)

I would suggest a turbo KIT (it will have everything you need to get going)

I think my goal would be to get zzps turbo kit. It seems nice and offers everything I'm looking for, and it's a decent price. I will definitely look at that ecotec build thread. Thanks! And if I did build my engine with the eagle rods, and wiseco pistons would I need a tune or would I be fine til I got my turbo kit?

Only way you might need a tune is if you went with low compression pistons

What brands of valve springs are there that would be a good buy?
