I just ordered a 2.5" catback exhaust with a borla muffler. Anyone else put an exhaust on yet or will I be the first LAP with a catback? And if Im not, who has a sound clip of what it sounds like without the peashooter stock exhaust?

 

you deffinately not the first lap with a catback but i got the dcsports catback and it sounds good, 09balckonblack has a catback too

 

I also have a catback, Flowmaster to be exact

I have sound clip of it. I will post it when it is available. I heard it and it sounds soft.

i have a vibrant header n dp n a corsa catback . ill try and get a soundclip later.

on a side note. all of u with exhausts. did u get a cel? and if u did, did u jus leave it or how did u get it fixed.

hey guys, i just sold my 2.5 stock ss/sc exhaust to an 09 2.2 G5 and he was curious about it having any back pressure issues. since i'm an lsj i didn't know what to tell him. anyone know?

 

No he'll be fine. A lot of the aftermarket catbacks for the 2.2 are 2.5"

 

i thought so. i think he was worried because of it being full exhaust.

 

zzp makes a 3in catback of the 2.2 and no issues with that

 

I probably should have got 3in cause I'm going turbo, but oh well! Lol
