LAP exhaust manifold

I searched with no luck and asked this in related threads to no avail. I know of the 2.4 revised intake and that the 2008 6-pin style 2.4 TB can be ran w/o a tune (tune is still better though lol) long as it's the LAP. I've read that the exhaust manifold is similar to the LSJ/LE5 counterpart is this true? Or is it the usual D-shaped restricted type from the L61? Maybe cleanxfe can shed on this.

i sure can lol yeah not D restricted only difference between lsj and lap/le5 is the O2 sensor location, the lap/le5 for 2009 and up don't have the O2 sensor in the manifold both pre and post sensors are in the downpipe

Thanks man. Guess I don't have to worry about swapping if less restrictive the the L61 counterpart. That way I can focus on the 2.4 TB, ZZP catted DP, 2.25/5 catback and tune.

beware zzp's downpipe has a wideband bung near the flange but on the other side so if you get the downpipe you wont have anywhere to put the pre cat o2 sensor, i went with the gmpp honed manifold and it has the o2 in it

Either the ZZP or the MBE dp you can opt for the 2.2 bung. Anyway ordered the 2.4 TB off GM parts direct. Can't wait to see how she runs on the topend. A slight issue though is how do you unplug the connector from the TB, The white clip on top or the purple ones on the sides? A similiar plug also connects to the MAF sensor and haven't unplugged that yet.
