I finally got the old manifold / dp off today while trying to install my badmab (more problems ), here's a pic showing the SAI ports!
I plan on removing the SAI system. And, there are 2 other smaller ports that the pic didn't get, 1 to the left of the 1st port, and 1 to the right of the 4th port.

 

This is just a reference for anyone who may want to try installing a header on a SAI infused head. I'm not sure if it will work with using a header with a flange (like badmab) that will completely cover those SAI ports, because I think all 4 of them go to all 4 of the main exhaust ports, and I would not want the header flange gasket gettin blown out!
This head's part number is 12624550, California emissions, and the non SAI head is 12624549, federal emissions.

 

I don't remember exactly what mine looked like but since my l61 has sai as well I assume those ports were there. I have been running a non sai compatible header for a while now as well as many others.

 

I honestly think it will be okay. That won't produce enough to blow anything

 

I have a PPE Header with the SAI ports I bought awhile back.... I only want $300 shipped if you are interested.....

 

I already have the badmab! Anyway, cannot use a PPE header because I dont have the older L61, and thus no tube to connect down to that tube...
