Limited Slip or Single Traction
I have a question. I am guessing that my 2010 LT is a single traction, where only the SS models have limited slip. What is involved in changing to a limited slip? Thanks

Buying 1100 dollar LSD and uninstall, take apart tranny, install, put tranny back together and reinstall. Unless you plan on making big power, waste of time and money for you

LSD is mostly helpful in turns. When going straight an open diff will give more power to one wheel over the other but still spins both wheels. However, in a turn I believe the open diff gives the power to the inside wheel which will tend to spin. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I've heard OBX made an LSD for the F23 and that it had the same parts as the Quaife but wasn't put together as well. Either way OP unless you are putting down enough power to easily spin your inside wheel in a turn, which is unlikely unless you are going boosted, then going to the hassle of getting an LSD isn't worth it.

People get too caught up on launching and one wheel peel, we have a torque biasing diff available which is the best thing you can do for a fwd cars handling. It sends more torque to the outside wheel in turns which makes the front tuck in under under power, hugely reducing the understeer that front drivers naturally get. QUITE AWESOME. That's the benefit, it doesn't matter how much power you have either
