Need some advice on MAF

So i'm thinking of putting in a k&n cold air intake in my cobalt, but i'm wondering about the air flow sensor, what have other people done about it?

Oh and also, are those fricken plastic panels removable, you know the ones to block out sound and such that cover the engineblock and most other stuff? I just briefly tried pulling on them and I couldn't tell where or how they were held down.

what are you wondering about the sensor exactly?

to take the engine cover off, take off the oil cap and just pull. The other big black one is part of the intake, so that's not coming off as it is, but if you get an aftermarket intake it will replace it.

Thanks, as for the sensor, I wanted to know what people have done with it after removing the stock intake because of it's placement, (i.e. cut a slot in the new intake for it?)

The K&N intake system has a spot for it. You remove the MAF from the stock intake and re bolt it in the new intake system.

Checkout www.TurboTechRacing.com we have them in stock.

Yes it is very popular, along with the Injen.

I've never heard of any aftermarket intake for the cobalt not having a place to put the maf sensor. and ttr is great, they're always the first place I look when I need something.
