Exclamation New LAP Noise

Just got my Cobalt about two months ago and all of the sudden it makes a ticking noise on start up, but only lately in the colder weather. I've heard the LSJ guys say that their timing chain tensioners make this sound when they go, but I just wanted to get some ideas from the LAP guys to see if you could shed anymore light on this subject for me. The car just rolled over 36K and the sound only started recently when the weather got colder down here in FL. Any help is appreciated.

This is true, but bumper to bumper is only 32K I believe. The drivetrain warranty is 100K

the ecotec is a direct-injection motor and it is going to make that sound right up till about 140 degrees XD mine does the same thing but it’s a noise common to a direct-injection motor.
