Noisy oil cap?

I changed the oil today on our 2009 Cobalt and checked to make sure the fill cap was on tight, so I unscrewed it and screwed it back on... but when it was unscrewed I noticed there was a fair amount of suction due to air flow. Is this normal? I have never had another vehicle have that much airflow through the fill cap when it is taken off.

Just checking - everything else is A-1, so I assume it is not a problem. 4,000 miles on this change and the oil was still honey colored on the dipstick

ya ive taken mine off so have several other people it twist like the regular cap then take a big flat screwdriver and pry it up then its out. also after a while it wont be honey colored anymore and your dipstick will start rusting really bad and yeah the vaccum is normal at least i hope so cuz mine does it too as well as burp oil into the intake and the maf doesnt do **** my car runs the same with or without it

was the car running when you pulled the cap off? lol. believe it or not that usually can cause pressure.

My 08 G6, 08 Canyon, and 77 F150 do not create that much pressure when running. I was just surprised it was enough to hold the cap down, it just seemed to be pulling a lot of air in.
