Oil

I've been using Royal Purple ever sense I bought my 2009. I'd like to stay in the full synthetic category, anyone have any other suggestions on a better oil than Royal Purple? Or is this stuff pretty good?

Don't you think RP is a bit overkill? Mobil 1 pays GM to advertise on the oil caps so I'm sure that's good enough...any synthetic will do. My 1st oil change I was with valvoline. Then I switched it to RP. I haven't noticed any performance gains so I'm probably going back to less expensive oil.

When it comes to the thing that keeps my entire engine from creating too much friction and prevents the internal parts from literally melting together or hitting eachother... money is not an issue. haha

I use Mobil1, brad Penn or Redline. If money is no object Redline is the best.

Royal Purple is good though, no need to switch.
