Is this possible...?

Is there a possibility that there is a wire or something you could safely tap into to connect a switch and be able to turn off traction control? Or is that not possible

Lies. I have the same deal. There is no button for traction off, and GM made the worst traction control ever for these cars. Hoping I can tune it out when I get a tune

Only way to "turn it off" is in L or set your ebrake a click up

Why would you want it off all the time? theres a reason they have it...to control traction...so keep it on during normal driving then click up on the ebrake to turn it off when you wanna race Honda Civics

well if it turns off then the e brake is up there must be some type of connection there, use a multimeter to find the wire and put a switch on it to turn it on and off when needed

thank you lol

it makes no sense to get a tune if he drives his are all year, all your doing by telling him to tune it isn't helping the guy

maybe you've seen this already but this guy installed a switch that tricks the car into turning the traction control off by making it think the parking brake is on. maybe that would work for you.

My old 2.4L had the same problem. Overall though I felt I never needed to turn it off. With Arctic Claw tires I could power up some crazy snowy and icy hills right passed jeeps that were in the ditch (not kidding).

But I am assuming you want to turn it off for faster launches. In that case I think going with your e-brake is the best option without a tune. The traction control light would come on with the chime but it would only sound once.
