question on springs

my math tutor told me that if i lower my car it will ruin my car in some ways. is this true?

Your shocks can fail, that's for sure. I haven't heard of anyone actually messing them up yet though.

Tell your math tutor to stick to match, not cars.

You can also bottom out by going over bumps to hard or too fast. Your shocks/struts should be good fora while but EVENTUALLY you will need to replace them.

lowering springs do not do anything to your struts as struts are not load bearing under normal conditions...struts get blown by bottoming out...you can do that at stock height

lowering can do damage cause everything is lower to the ground, yes...other then that...your pretty much safe
