Two questions. I installed my cai. I ran it down my fender. But the hose that was connected to the airbox, what do I do with that? Remove it? And also. My car makes a noticable humming now in the front. I am assumig it's from the newly installed intake but I just want to make sure. My coolant lvls run fine and it is installed great and runs good and sounds good.

 

I'm guessing the hose was the SAI (secondary air injection)... What year is your car?

Im sure the humming is a vibration, check to make sure it isnt rubbing up on something. Also that hose, is supposed to be hooked up to the intake pipe. My injen has a tube to connect it to. What brand did you buy?

 

ah ****, i got one for a 2006....fack.. lol. fail. im sure there is a way i can modify that then. it only has one spot for the hose to the engine...damn lol

 

you can always just put a little breather element on the end of the sai hose if you dont feel like modifying the intake, and that humming is normal, its just the way a new intake sounds because there is no air restriction anymore, so ur good just get that breather on there :

Im taking the side molding off this weekend... on my back i have the whole trunk shaved and my tails blacked out except for the top brake light. and my skinny straightpipe poking out the back lol

i FACKING HATE MEYERSDALE HONDA PRELUDES! lol..they are all over.. but def man we have to get together soon. IM going down to DUBS at the beach next weekend to show off my ride, lol. so far i like what i have gotten done with my ride.
