Quietest Muffler

Just like the title says, whats the quietest muffler or catback out there that still has somewhat of a tone to it on throttle? I have a hacked up cat back right now... it was originally the Tsudo catback and then i did a resonator delete... and then changed the muffler to a vibrant flat black muffler and it just sounds like crap... its really annoying and raspy and tinny on throttle - Im thinking of switching to something quieter... Any suggestions? I love the way it looks, just not the way it sounds.

I also have the badmab header and zzp downpipe... could either of those be making it real tinny?

Just some pics:

Well no resonator will make it sound tinny, do you have a Cat in that DP?

Stock lsj

Tinny... lol that could be the catless or a exhaust leak

get a cat man, the gains are not worth the annoyance. I lasted 3months castless till going to a zzp longtube catted setup.

put a resonator on it. Just put a bigger one on it. When i did my 3 inch exhaust, i ended up with a 3"x 36" resonator.. And now it sounds very very deep. with no rasp what so ever.

Stock tc, or try to find a hahn muffler. Also, maybe install a 2nd muffler where the resonator used to be.

v6 swap.

naw but rly i hear gmpp exhaust is one of the nicest tones and quietest.

i have only a bad mab header as of now and the car still sounds stock. guessing a hiflow cat would change things pretty quick

I would go stock SS/SC if you really want quiet. But Supposedly the Borla XS and Hooker Headers Max Flow are the two quietest aftermarket mufflers that flow decently well.

throw a 24-36" resonator on it, that should be all you have to do. I have a glasspack style 24" on mine and it quiets it down a ton.

It's not really LOUD.... the tone of the exhaust is nice, but at certain times (especially WOT) it gets REAL tinny and raspy sounding and its awwwffuuullll.... although It kind sounds like its coming from underneath the car rather than the muffler, so maybe it is an exhaust leak somewhere?
