People see 250+ whp and are fine. Some even 300 whp but thats getting dangerous.
exactly, before i turbod my car in 2010, people were like 250 is the limit! any bit over and ur gonna blow ur **** up!!!! of course there wasnt hard evidence to prove it except a graph that was floating around. there are plenty people over 250 with stock internals, just depends on tune and how well u treat ur car

You won't make 300+whp on a blower setup anyway, so you shouldn't have internal problems. I'd suggest keeping it under 15psi as that seems to be the good safe limit for the current crop of boosted 2.2/2.4 guys, but if it was me i'd just pound it til it gave up, then put some pistons/rods in it when you get to that point.
Wrong!! 2.2L ported M62 full bolt ons and cooling mods with a aggressive HPtune with E85 will net 300whp.Just thought I would add that.

[QUOTE=bluebalt07;6416126]Your sig says forged block. Do you mean forged rods and pistons? Because with the stockers you won't last very long[/QUOTE

Yup the whole engine has been rebuilt with quality... when I wrote block I assumed people would know what I mean haha..

Just wasn't sure if you meant you had a girdled block or whether you meant everything had been redone lol
