turbo lt

So guys ive finally decided what im going to do with my lt im going to fully turn it into a turbo cobalt I know there are build threads already just trying to hear some feedback on what I should do first

$100 says you don't actually turbo it and give up midway through acquiring parts then have a part out. Most likely caused by financial woes.

Read the build threads, get an idea of the power you want. There are plenty of threads with the information of what turbo will what you're looking for. Also, look at ZZP's kit to get an idea of what you need.

Like honestly, did you search at all before making a new thread on this? First suggestion, do some maintenance on the car. Rebuild the block, new clutch.

Trans cooler NOW.

I'm doing to same thing and still acquiring parts even if it takes a year to complete as long as it's turboed I'm happy. I've got all the big stuff but need lots of gauges as well as a KY stage 3 clutch yet. I'm only planning to run it on stock internals about 230 WHP until I have a chance to build the engine.

They're universal you just have to run the lines and find a spot to mount it. The autos can handle lots of power but if you beat on them often the heat will kill it without a cooler.

i had my LS boosted for 28k miles. zzp stage 2 turbo kit. 235 whp 250tq. quick and fun. still daily driving it today, just bone stock now. i miss the boost tho
