turbo vs super

I know use the search button. but I can't so deal with it.
but anyways, since I can't sell my car or trade it in (its only worth 4500 trade, owe a lot more) I'm thinking about boosting the polished turd but I don't what route to go, since I daily my car and all that I want reliability and power, I've been looking at the zzp kits and they both look awesome, aside from the fact they're 3k+ each and the turbo kit with kill my rods since they only have stage 2 now. but anyways since piecing the kit together is a lot cheaper, what should I go for turbo or supercharger. and I want a reason why you say what you say, if that makes any sense. and don't blast me bc I'm not searching or anything, I'm on an app on my phone, there's no search, and I also want new info and input. not old, dead threads. so if anyone has any info which route is the best to go for being daily driven and all that nonsense please let me know. and I'm looking for parts/kits if anyone has them. and now I'll end my rambling.

Can make more power for a little bit more money.

By the way there is actually a search feature incorporated into the app. Its one of the menu or settings buttons on your phone. All depends on which phone you're using.

You gotta pay to play. You can't push your car and not at least expect something to be a weak point. They make aftermarket replacement parts for a reason.

If you owe more than the car is worth, pay it off before you go either route. Also if its your main transportation gotta consider that too, all builds do not go smoothly, a few do and a few don't your choice which will happen.

Auto or manual?

I'd say a supercharger would be better for you since you don't want to have to deal with the engine as well as the cost. Don't get me wrong though, things can still go wrong but normally as long as the tune is safe you won't be blowing a 2.2 engine on the M62 (on pump not E-85). You can buy a kit from Mongorat for much cheaper than ZZP sells it for, probably around $1k vs 2.5k from ZZP.

What is your goal? Daily driven and keeping the cost down I would say supercharger all the way. Instant power, cheaper since the parts are plenty.

Also recommend Mongo for buying a kit.

My car has been to hell and back with 2.8 pulley with full bolt ons and 93 tune. E85 with 24* bent a couple rods

Stay on 91 or 93 for reliability. Even with building my motor and port work im still on the M62 with TVS in mind for future.

if supercharger:
- you have better reliability.
- parts are easy to find and cheaper.
- Less stress on your internals, if done correctly.
- you can always go TVS in the future if you want more.
- not as much power.

if Turbo:
- Tons of potential
- most hp for your $$
- a million different options as far as turbo's and crap goes.
- your going to need to fork over more $$ to keep that engine running.
- reliability becomes an issues.

in your case, i would say go supercharged for mainly the reliability and simple bolt on application. and you dont have to fork over stacks $$.
