turbo weld on...

what would be the down side to have a shop weld on a turbo to my stock DP and header?

Man just do some research, your stock mani will not support a turbo. Check out zzperformance.com

guys, he's talking about putting the turbo on his dp... like sts turbos.. I would get a bracket for the turbo welded on so one day it wont just break off or leak. could work..

he said "stock downpipe and header" if you put it on the header might as well get a manifold

get the manifold, turbo, and get the adapter that Garrett makes to bolt the turbo to the stock dp.

heres a good idea. save your money and get an ss makes alot more sense than trying to make an ls fast...

The best option for you if you must go that rout is to have a shop weld a t3 or whatever flange the turbo requires and bolt the turbo to it. The only problem with this is having clearance to mount the turbo.
