Use high octane!

FYI just so you guys know our ECUs are set with low octane and high octane tables. So you might want to fill up with 91 to get use of some extra timing.

Now i dont know if the high octane tables would cause knock with 87 and force it into low octane tables.

Stock timing with 91 oct was 23* at WOT

Maybe somebody can look at their stock car when running 87 and see what tables its using?

The "High Octane" and "Low Octane" tables are not the same as "91" and "87"...

Better to think of them as "Good gas" and "Bad gas" tables, because theyre switched based on knock.

Your car is still meant to run 87, and the tuning is still very conservative.

i guess the reason i started this thread was to see if anyone knew if 87 oct. would force low oct. tables or if high oct. tables are detuned enough to run it with full stock timing
