SO i ran out of mods a while back and decided to mess around with my gm performance exhaust out of pure bordum ....being as its a 2minute procedure to remove the rear dampening resonator ...i pulled it for shitz and giggles lol let me just say that at 3k i fool people for a mustang it lopes and growls just like any v8 lmao its actually halarious if you get bored i would recommend it very amusing ..... now i get stares at the domestic meets .......tuners are like didnt know those came in a v8 haha

 

people always think my ss/sc is a v6 from the sound of the gmpp sport exhaust.

I did the same thing like 6 months ago. I bought the touring GMPP catback and removed the resonator. It messed up the gasket somehow and started to sound like a "V8". I got it fixed and put on a header and downpipe from ZZP and it sounds much crazier. Most people have nice catback or muffler exhausts around here and they sound good. Mine just sounds like a beast.

Here's my crazy exhaust... custom 3" all the way, including the downpipe. Has a high flow cat, no resonator, and a single Magnaflow muffler.
