Sorry for a stupid question. There's an engine being parted out a few miles down the road. LE5 from 06. I have an 07, and wanna buy the block to have it prepped and girdled for a future build. It has a bad rod knock. Not sure if it's worth it. What do you think?

Yes it fits. If you plan on completely building it and havig it girdled then yeah, pick it up if it's a good deal. Idk the price of le5 sb's but if it's cheap, get it for sure.

 

You can get a used running long block for 200$
