F23 transmission cold temps problem (fluid?)
Hi everyone !
I have a 06 LE5 manual trans and as you may know i have shifting problem at cold temp..
Sometimes when i'm stoped on a corner i can't put the car on first but if i put it in 2-3-4 or 5
i can shift to the 1st after that ! But this morning at a red light i tried to put the car in every gear and it doesn't shift at the 5 position ?? after try and try antry very hard i managed to shift the gear... the temperature outside is around -25 celcius it could be just he fluid in it ? the car as 121XXXkm on it and i tink think it has never changed !
If it's this can someone give me the part number of the GM fluid of this transmission please
May the clutch could be the problem? cause i have to change it cause the guys before me blew it ??
Tanks Yann !
P.S. Sorry for my english i'm french canadian !

I live in Québec too (freakin cold weather this week) and my tranny does that too. Fluid have been changed last winter when I changed synchros under warranty.
I think any manual transmission would do this over the first kilometers, until fluid warms up. It did that too with my 03 sunfire.
Does it get better when fluid is getting warmer?
