2.2 turbo on a 2.4

alright so alpine has a turbo kit out for the 2.2's and knowing that almost everything off of 2.2s fit on our 2.4's what would be the difficulties in buying a 2.2 turbo kit and then bolting it into your 2.4

what would need to be changed?

heres a link to the turbo kit for 2.2's http://www.alpine-developments.us/newproducts.html

The intake "hat" for the 2.4 won't work on the 2.2. But, they now have a 2.4 kit, but the tune is't perfected. See this:

Really great power, but mid-range boost wasn't worked out. My 0-60 at a mile high here in Denver with a 2.4 Auto went from low 11 to mid-7.

If you have the LE5 engine, I would stay away from the Alpine kit. You have the benefit of an ECM that can be tuned directly via HP Tuners. Use the Garrett kit. Talk with CelicaCobalt. He is was the first person to try that.

OR, email Hahn racecraft and find out WTF is up with their LE5 kit that was supposed to be released months ago. They have a kit working PERFECTLY on an LE5 Soulstice.

the difference with the solstice le5 is that the pcm they use is physically identical to ours but is running different operating software which means our cars tune differently then the solstice unfortunately.
